Medical applications of the laser: A review of the state of the art

The results of a questionnaire-based survey of Dutch frequent air travelers are presented. The survey encompasses general discomforts and inconveniences as well as symptoms of ill health. A target group of sufferers from flying-related health complaints is tentatively identified, amounting to some tens of thousands of the Dutch population aged 30 or older.
