Theoretical investigation of the Krebs cycle within the scope of quantum chemistry and algebraic chemistry

 

Within the scope of quantum chemistry (AM1-method) and algebraic chemistry (quasi-ANB-matrices method) a theoretical investigation of the reactions of the Krebs cycle has been carried out. Considering the value of the determinant of the quasi-ANB-matrix as a “parameter  of  complexity” of  the system, it can be concluded that the complexi­ties change during the cycle similarly to the enthalpies of reactions.
